A guest post from Ruby Casellini
This is my third day at the International Spring School 2009 at ZU, Friedrichshafen, Germany. I received an email from my home university (USI) and it straight away caught my eye. It appeared to be the sort of experience which interests me, and which I wanted to be a part of. I had some basic expectations which were; to meet international people, to attend small classes where we could have group discussions and to discuss how social media differs in each culture. ZU is a very welcoming university, located on the Lake Constance with a very relaxed atmosphere. It is a very small community, about 600 students which in my opinion is better because with such a short stay here I am actually able to interact with a lot people. The ISS 2009 at ZU has been a great experience, I can apply what I have learned during this course at ZU to my courses at my university, I have met people from all around the world which I have added on facebook and I can now keep in touch with and I have finally been to Germany.
