Hi, my name is Prof. Brab Otnased and I am teaching PR Strategy and Social Media at the ISS 2009 @ZU. I have to admit that not only the topic of this course, but also the location and my students are soooo amazing. It is a brilliant experience to work with young people that are so engaged and are even more into this topic than I am, because it is about the new world they live in. Therefore the class is a give and take.
Today the student's did some presentations on articles I gave them about various aspects of web 2.0 and social media like twitter, friendfeed or how to post videos on YouTube.
We are learning a lot without being chained to the oares. In the breaks you have the possibility to take a walk on the beach of Lake Konstanz or enjoy a healthy, but quite expensive lunch. ZU's cafeteria is always full of people, so if you are not eager to work you can have a nice chat and coffee instead.
I wonder if everthing here is organised so well in daily university life as well. It seems to me that the whole ISS is arranged by two teachers and two students, who even gave us their private phone numbers in case of emergency. Apparently it is more than just work being an
